The correspondence between Yetter and Pfefer clearly had been going on for some time before this undated letter, which Notre Dame archivists have determined was written in 1961. This is the period where Tony Santos and Pfefer were working together in Boston, and Yetter indicates that he'd love to join their promotion, if not for other considerations. He also notes that a story on Bearcat Wright was spiked temporarily by the editor of Ring magazine. The degree to which Pfefer had his hooks in Wright is unclear, but the tone of the letter indicates that the Wright article was written with at least Pfefer's knowledge, if not involvement. This is one of the shortest letters in the collection.
